Surely whoever can read these lines at this instant does not have an extreme lack of goods, much less suffer hunger, since you have access to a computer, to modern technology and to basic services… but the reality for millions of human beings in this exact instant is not the same, perhaps unbelievable.
The lack of basic goods increases at a devastating rate, plunging entire peoples into great sufferings.
The mere fact of mentioning the life of a HUMAN BEING as a number makes integrity defragmented, EVERY 5 SECONDS A CHILD DIES FOR LACK OF FOOD IN THE PLANET EARTH.
The causes could be enumerated upon the whims of each person, but as children of the same God we must assume that this fact is due to the lack of Love and to the indifference.
This is the reality in which part of humanity lives, but on the light of the Revelations the perspective could takes a universal dimension in the near future.
Yes, although from the comfort of a chair this could be unthinkable and illogical and the possibilities to discuss this beyond faith, are many and well substantiated.
Humanity is already reaching the 7500 millions of inhabitants, a very high number with regard to the over-consumption of natural resources to sustain the level of life today, and steering the planet to a dangerous limit. The extreme climate change together with the pollution of the environment is limiting the cultivation zones and the oceans are threatened by the high levels of pollution, extinguishing marine life at an alarming rate.
To all of the above we can add the various warfare conflicts that are wreaking havoc as never before seen in the history of humanity, and should also be mentioned that if these reach a larger scale this could rapidly become in a global disaster considering the warfare arsenal that humanity possess (about 20,000 nuclear warheads) and as an example we have in a smaller scale as predicted the previous great world wars.
The present scene and at the same time highly comprehensible, it is in complete synchronization with the calls and the warning from Heaven, that seeks in the midst of the madness and indifference of the arrogant man, to be aware of the imminent danger to which all of humanity is heading.

21:10 Then he said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
21:11 There will be powerful earthquakes, famines, and plagues from place to place; …
Matthew:
24:7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be famines and earthquakes from place to place.
24:8 All these are the beginning of the labor pains.
