Mary, Refuge of Holy Love says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“There is a difference between a person who is independent of God and one who is indifferent towards God. The indifferent soul does not care one way or the other if he is pleasing God and obeying His Laws or not. The soul who is independent of God is strictly self-governing and works apart from God’s Authority as a matter of course.”

“Both of these attitudes are sinful and displeasing to God. The righteous soul respects God’s Laws and His Will and tries in every way to please Him. This obedience is as a child tries to please a loving parent. In the indifferent and the independent, the love connection has been broken.”

Read 1 John 3:19-24 +

Synopsis: A good conscience is one which keeps the Commandments and lives in Holy Love.

By this we shall know that we are of the Truth, and reassure our hearts before Him whenever our hearts condemn us; for God is greater than our hearts, and He knows everything. Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we keep His Commandments and do what pleases Him. And this is His Commandment, that we should believe in the Name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as He has commanded us. All who keep His Commandments abide in Him, and He in them. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit which He has given us.
