  • A very good summary of the miracle that took place at Garabandal, linking in with a convert called Joey’s interesting testimony and his healing through the hands of the holy priest with the stigmata, Padre Pio. If you haven’t heard about this, you need to know what was prophesied- whether you believe it or not!

  • Video: “What can a blind guy do to spread the message of Father Pio and Garabandal?”

What can a blind guy do to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ? Ask Saul!

    • H-watcher, I have been meaning to open up a topic you began a while ago that I’d love to share with you. I’m sure that if we pool what we know on this topic, we’ll learn something. You said that false prophets will exist to mislead (end-times). Caution is needed.

    • Not sarcastic. Reality. The great commission has nothing to do with any pastor or any apparition.

I reject Marian apparition. Not because I believe they may not have some prophetic truth, but I believe they have the power to deceive. Clearly they already are.

Seeing the supernatural that doesn’t conflict with doctrine is not enough to conclude something is of God. We don’t know this because Satan masquerades as an angel of light. So if we can’t faithfully conclude something is of God, then I won’t share is as some prophetic truth to salvation.

      • The first Marian apparition is actually in the Bible. Read Revelation 11:19 through 12:5.

So you think you are the infallible Bible interpreter?

        • That’s exactly what real apparitions are, visions given by Heaven!

You never answered the question: are you the infallible interpreter of Scripture or not? Or is it merely your OPINION of Scripture? Be honest now, and don’t keep ducking the question.

        • What should we make of your sarcastic hateful remark comparing the blind Joey Lomingino’s spreading the Gospel of redemption which he experienced personally in his own life with the blind and Hell bent Saul of Tarsus as he went out to persecute believers? Is this the armor of the Spirit you believe you possess? Or did I read you all wrong here?

        • What should we make of your hateful sarcastic remark comparing the blind Joey Lomingino’s spreading the Gospel of redemption which he experienced personally in his own life with the blind and Hell bent Saul on his way to persecute believers? Is this what you call the Spirit you claim to possess? Or have I read you all wrong on this?

      • The bible needs no “interpretation”. Proper language translation, for sure, but no interpretation.

We require enough humility to pursue Christ with the faith of a child, so that the simple, unvarnished truth comes forth. We over complicate the truth by interjecting ourselves and our agendas.

Is it any wonder Jesus taught in parables? He is not trying to save smart people who can unravel a mystery. He is trying to save those that have a heart to hear his message. Without such a heart, His parables go right over your head or they are thought of as insulting/blasphemy.

      • Any mysteries that remain I am sure will cleared up by the spirit of truth. So to answer your question directly, the only infallible interpretor of scripture would be the spirit of truth.

      • Dear h-w,
I’ve just caught up with this conversation but I believe that there is something important that needs to be discussed. It is very difficult to extract just one thing but I keep feeling urged to come back to this and I think this is the opportunity. I want to discuss Divine Prophecy and what I will call ‘Private Revelations’, openly as well as the ability to discern; to tell a true prophet from a false one. I believe quite a few of us, including you, will have something to share about this that can benefit each other/s. But we have to stay on topic. And believe me when I say I am praying for you; we all are.
The Armour of Truth is a perfect place to start. Firstly, what do you understand a revelation to be? It can of course be defined in general terms as a sudden understanding eg. “I’ve had a revelation!”but people of God understand it differently. On a personal level, God intervenes or can cause us to open our eyes and suddenly see or understand something in His Word, for example that we have not seen that way before. Assuming you know exactly what I mean and have probably experienced it, you can therefore say that through God’s Hand, you have experienced at least one revelation. This is how many come to God.
Now I know that not all revelations are accompanied by visions or other experiences but some most certainly are.
Let’s list a few Bible instances off the top of my head; Moses and the Burning Bush, Joseph and his prophetic dreams, Jonah and his mission to Ninevah, an angel announces to Mary that she will become the Mother of God’s Son (the message of His birth via a private revelation from an angel). In the bible, some of these are accompanied by great miracles; even witnessed by a large number of people ( eg. Miraculous signs and interventions as Moses led the Israelites from Egypt through the desert.) What criteria did they use to know the message or prophecy or revelation was of God? And in your case, how did YOU know that what you experience (or experienced) is of God?
Maybe you’d like to tell us your conversion story if you feel you can open up like that?

    • What should we make of your hateful sarcastic remark comparing the blind Joey Lomingino’s spreading the Gospel of redemption which he experienced personally in his own life with the blind and Hell bent Saul on his way to persecute believers? • hw You are an ignorant blind fool. The heart possess the eyes of faith and not your physical eyes by which you visualise the garbage of this world to contaminate and allow your inner spiritual eyes in your heart to be blinded.

    • Oyster, since Pete did not reply, he is referring to hopeful_watcher above. He and “db2”, who have spent a lot of time on this site, have been caught up in a great web of disinformation. But because of some deep and painful personal issues over which they have not found inner peace with God with yet, they have instead found a false measure of satisfaction in their present seriously lacking belief systems. This is a common human experience for all of us but for these it is more pronounced especially with db2. This makes it seem dangerous to them to honestly look at the facts that expose their errors. So much of the grace of God gets shut out when we try to find peace on our own terms rather than on God’s. H_W’s sarcastic response above is scarey but db2’s responses have been far worse. If they only knew they did not have to carry all this hostility and fear and that God could completely become all peace they ever could dream of having. I would like to think these could end up like the flaming witness Saul became after getting his SPIRITUAL sight restored.

      • Webster, you present yourself as a man of God, but your words are mocking, full of disdain and false humility. Is this the light of Christ you wish to shine?

I will only speak for myself. Hatred is not in me. I only wish to be a lover of truth. What you classify as anti Catholic bigotry. If this is due to my own ignorance, than may the grace of God redirect me. Until then I will keep pushing forward with scripture in hand and the armor of the spirit.

      • “What should we make of your hateful sarcastic remark comparing the blind Joey Lomingino’s spreading the Gospel of redemption which he experienced personally in his own life with the blind and Hell bent Saul on his way to persecute believers?”

Many apologies. I can see how you may have taken me for sarcastic, reading now on how you took it.

My intent is not to be insensitive to a disability. My intent was to show that this man is misguided in his mission. He is trying to spread a message about a pastor when he should spread the message of the gospel. Father Pio should not accept such exaltation.

        • So now yet again h_w, you show you cannot face your serious faults of lack of honest openness and lack of basic charity. You were then, as both I and “pete” could plainly see, comparing the spiritual state of Joey Lomengeno to the Hell bent Saul on his way to persecute Believers. Now you attempt to cover your hateful spirit with a diversion. You do not have the Holy Spirit to guide you nor even an understanding of the Scriptures.
I will tell you that you have not dealt with that very painful experience in your life by committing it to God but have covered it by defensiveness and judgmentalism toward those that do not agree with you. h-w I am telling you, you do not have to continue in this dark hole of self protectionism. God is able to free you and He is trying desperately to get through to you by all those who really do care for you on this site. You do not see how much of God’s grace is coming down for you at this time. God has held you here at this sight for that obvious reason. Your release is so close to you. Open your eyes h_W and see God’s grace and truth! Just now pray a short prayer that you might see.

      • You are being willfully obtuse. This isn’t a spirit of truth, but its a spirit of manipulation. Classic tactic of the self-proclaimed righteous. Many a pharisea were obtuse when faced with simple truths.

I wasn’t comparing him to Saul the murderer. I was comparing him to one of the greatest redemption stories of all time, Saul who became Paul through the grace of God. However, Paul did things differently. He chose to glorify God through the gospel, not lift up doctrines of mystics.

        • So now you add an outright lie to your diversion attempt changing the man you called “blind Saul” to Paul the Apostle and comparing him to Joey Lomangino now as the wonderful evangelist that Paul was! Your previous account was that you were trying to show how misguided Lomangino was! “My intent was to show that this man is misguided in his mission” and you did that by comparing him to “blind Saul” (who was on his way to Hell). So caught on that account you completely flip your story! “I was comparing him to one of the greatest redemption stories of all time.” And you say you are a lover of truth and guided by the Spirit? It’s a good thing God is more patient with you than He was with Ananias an Saphira! One thing is very clear all our exchanges have not at all been over the issues we have discussed, but something far more important! God’s grace is still knocking at your door – don’t dismiss it. Suggestion: Listen to the entire video clip with a sincere prayer for the guidance of Heaven.

      • You were a pastor right? Saul and Paul were the same person before and after conversion. You know that right?

      • To tell you the truth, I am fairly impressed how close the comparison really is.

Saul was unsaved and lost, became blind received a miracle and had an incredible conversion.

Joey Lomangino was unsaved and lost, was blind, received a miracle and had an incredible conversion.

You would either have to be extremely dense or willfully obtuse to Not see the parallel.

    • Sorry Oyster I was referring to DB2. I hope he DB2 and HW can see deeper with the guidance of the Discernment Spirit to understand how beautifully D Webster had been explaining issues which ordinary people like myself have been so appreciative of. Keep it up DW, God is surely using you and others to make known his truth.

      • So D Webster bares falls witness against me calling me a liar and you choose to encourage him. Interesting.

BTW, it was me (HW) you called a blind ignorant fool, not DB2.

Am I beyond God’s reach? Could He not be using me to make known a truth?

“Send me Lord. I am a willing servant”.

  • HW listen there are good guys around on this block who I am sure are genuine in trying to explain what the current pope is doing that is not consistent with the teachings of the church, however, in so doing is fulfilling the bible prophesies for the end times. They are not here to debate with you issues to make you swim the Tiber, although you are to blame yourself for having steered that course. HW stand where you are in faith, but remember the truth that the catholic church is the church of the end time bible prophesy. Let me asks, What other religion is referred to as the Temple of God that the antichrist will eventually take over? It is the Catholic Church Vatican temple of course. What other religion will lose the daily sacrifice as Daniel prophesied? It is again the Catholic Church of course where throughout the world the Priests in every Parish conducts daily at 6am the daily holy sacrifice of the mass. My good bro humble yourself and be filled with the spirit of truth. You already have great knowledge of God words through your human intellect and now you must allow the spirit of truth to energize your human intellect so you are enlightened. The Spirit of truth and enlightenment can only be accessed by one key and that is………. Humility. This starts with respecting others for their opinions and prayerfully asking God for the truth a mist these opinions. He will definitely give you the truth. I am from a village in the jungles of Bougainville, Papua New Guinea, Pacific region, north of Australia. I have been a keen follower .of the contributions on this site. If I am lucky to pick up a satellite signal which is quiet unreliable in my village setting I spent a good two hours reading your contributions. I do not contribute anything because I only wish to learn from your contributions and my bible studies so I may prepare myself for the worst which I believe is approaching fast. The frightening thing is that Francis is not a pope. And this I say is not because he does not want to be called that but because he does not deserve to be called that having usurped the title improperly. What I am saying here HW is that what harm he is inflicting on the Catholic Church will be felt by all of Christendom. It is therefore important that we all share in encouraging each others for enlightenment with the truth which will not be revealed while mud is thrown here and there but silent meditation over contributions that may have contradicted our long held believes. And you …..Oh yes, it was meant for you, but DB2 also got his share. And yes DW you continue I’m sure we will all in time see what may be now obscured.

  • My fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, the Holy Spirit provides us the gift of wisdom and discernment. We have the power to know the difference between good and evil. It is improper to insult others to prove that we are right, instead we must pray to God to enlighten our minds and seal our lips to avoid blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Hatred and division does not come from our Lord Jesus Christ.
