Signs – the Coming Redefinition of Natural Law after the Synod

From the October 2014 Synod document INSTRUMENTUM LABORIS we read:

21. In light of what the Church has maintained over the centuries, an examination of the relation of the Gospel of the Family to the experience common to every person can now consider the many problems highlighted in the responses concerning the question of the natural law. In a vast majority of responses and observations, the concept of natural law today turns out to be, in different cultural contexts, highly problematic, if not completely incomprehensible. 

30. The language traditionally used in explaining the term “natural law” should be improved so that the values of the Gospel can be communicated to people today in a more intelligible manner. In particular, the vast majority of responses and an even greater part of the observations request that more emphasis be placed on the role of the Word of God as a privileged instrument in the conception of married life and the family, and recommend greater reference to the Bible, its language and narratives. In this regard, respondents propose bringing the issue to public discussion and developing the idea of biblical inspiration and the “order in creation,” which could permit a re-reading of the concept of the natural law in a more meaningful manner in today’s world (cf. the idea of the law written in the human heart in Rm 1:19-21; 2:14-15). Moreover, this proposal insists on using language which is accessible to all, such as the language of symbols utilized during the liturgy. The recommendation was also made to engage young people directly in these matters.

This is simply relativism, or what would be called modernism in the religious context. Modernists are all about keeping up with the time, making things “meaningful” to today’s population. In Pascendi Dominici Gregis by St. Pope Pius X we read: “Hence it comes that these formulas, to be living, should be, and should remain, adapted to the faith and to him who believes. Wherefore if for any reason this adaptation should cease to exist, they lose their first meaning and accordingly must be changed.” Also “Dogma [unchanging truths] is not only able, but ought to evolve and to be changed.” In the Motu-proprio Ut Mysticum (14 March 1891) we read: “To bring contempt and odium on the mystic Spouse of Christ, who is the true light, the children of darkness have been wont to cast in her face before the world a stupid calumny, and perverting the meaning and force of things and words, to depict her as the friend of darkness and ignorance, and the enemy of light, science, and progress.

Not only that, but accepting the errors of other faiths will be included under the umbrella of making it meaningful in “different cultural contexts”  (as shown above). Of course the lie is pitched in the form of just using a new way of presenting it.

Watch what happens – the natural law will be redefined so as to permit sin, as if it does not offend God and has no consequences. Examples of sins to be approved in this way are homosexual (sodomite) behavior, homosexual unions, adultery (second marriages), contraception, etc. This is by no means an exhaustive list. The church (small-c) of Francis is about to really explode onto the world scene – as the basis for the One World pagan Religion.
