Holy Love

My Son is not pleased when He sees the term ‘obedience’ used as a means of manipulation and control

July 9, 2014

“Blessed Mother says: “Praise be to Jesus.”

“I come to you, once again, as My Son permits to bring you the Light of Truth on the path of your salvation. I come to inform the uninformed, the misinformed and even those who do not seek to be informed. My Son is not pleased when He sees the term ‘obedience’ used as a means of manipulation and control. True obedience must arise from a heart full of Holy Love, never pursuing selfish ends or promoting a means of obstructing good. This is not of the Lord. Obedience to the Truth is a treasure and must be treated as such. A good leader must never hold obedience over the heads of those in his charge like a noose ready to fall. A good leader has willing followers who obey out of eagerness to please.”

“I inform you of these things with Love. My Son allows that I return to you on the Feast of the Holy Rosary [October 7] in the Field of Our United Hearts during the Hour of Mercy. I will meet you there.”

Read Phillipians 2:1-4 & 12-13

So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for God is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

  • The first paragraph reminded me of something Francis said to the FFI—“if I say that black is white, then it is white.” That’s a quote from Loyola; however, in the context it sounds manipulative and controlling.

  • Not just controlling but arrogant. The well-known episode from Orwell’s book “1984” is similar. Recall that Winston was asked by his interrogator who was holding up 4 fingers, how many fingers did he see. When Winston replied “4” he was corrected and told there were 5. The state says so. And Winston would be “rehabilitated” if he would agree. We Catholics are obedient ( according to the Vaticanistes) only if we accept any piece of drivel out of their mouths. They lost credibility with me years ago when they pretended that John Paul II consecrated Russia to Our Lady. 28 years on we stand on the brink of WWIII. In light of the catastrophic results we see as a result of this lie, there are plenty of Catholics that still accept that the consecration has occurred and call you “disobedient to the Church” if you try to convince them otherwise.

  • Tell them anyway. Quote Jane Fonda in all her seventy-something glory at them and say: “Because you’re worth it”. So what if they biff you one. Be like Charlie Brown who marched up to the terrible Lucy (not the Dos Santos one) and said: “Let’s get it over and done with. Hit me.” Little Lucy, briefly dumbfounded, obliged. The skeptics won’t yet behave like Islamic terrorists who knock on your and ask if you’re a Muslim and if you’re not, to cries of :Have a nice day” shoot you dead.

  • Might have been Linus, not Charlie Brown. And Jane F has blotted her copybook by twittering about Francis champion of the poor. Poor suckers, more like. Let us pray on while the enemies of God do their preying on.
