No authority should stand in the way of your relationship with God

September 4, 2014

“I am your Jesus, born Incarnate.”

“I have come to tell you that no authority should stand in the way of your relationship with God. To do so is an abuse of authority. The interior forum of each soul must not be imposed upon by any attempt to control, or gain a foothold of power, or any other self-interest.”

“If a soul discerns* that God is speaking to him or inspiring him, his solemn duty is to obey God, and not allow anyone to oppose him. Such opposition or interference opposes the Will of God.”

“There is no authority on earth higher than My Father’s Will.”

*True discernment is based on the Truth. The Truth is always based upon Holy Love – to love God above all else and neighbor as self.

Read Acts 5:29

But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.”

  • Based on that, the CDF which condemned so many prophets and visionaries should not exist!

  • Oyster, I would call your statement an overstatement, though maybe an understandable one! The Church however is obligated to discern pubically significant Revelation meant by Heaven for public faith for those unable to make proper discernments. It’s discernment of the Canon of Scripture was certainly of great importance even though individuals prior to that discernment were not only allowed but were required to personally discern the authenticity of these revelations. St. Paul rightly castigated those in the Church who discounted his Apostleship and his inspired writings. But there is yet another, a most serious false notion a near universal heresy among the clergy in the Church, the thinking that there is no “Public revelation” beyond the Original Deposit of Faith. This heresy claims that all revelation since is merely “private revelation,” which by definition means that no one but the person who received it must believe it. This is why even Fatima was not declared certainly or God and thus required for faith but only that it was “worthy of devotion.” This was likely why the Hierarchy felt no obligation to obey it, or at least was the CLAIMED justification before the faithful in the Church for ignoring it. Any honest mind however knows to the contrary that Fatima, as well as Rue de Bac before it, Garabandal, and I claim that includes the Valtorta Revelations were meant for the faith of the entire Church. In lieu of this near universal heresy in the Church it was right for pope Paul VI IN 1966 to publically acknowledge the serious spiritual disfunction of the heirarchy (as witnessed to by Sister Lucia as a diabolic disorientation which only increased after Fatima was ignored) and allowing Catholics to discern for themselves and disseminate reports of apparitions, revelations, and miracles. He freed the faithful by abolishing canon 1399 and 2318 no longer requiring the express permission of the Church OR AN IMPRIMATUR , providing these contain nothing that contradicts the faith of the Church. The Catechism itself acknowledges that the popular labeling of post canonical revelation is not an official one calling them “so-called ‘private revelations’ ” but further acknowledging that “some of which have been recognized by the authority of the Church” and additionally stating that the faithful know how to discern and welcome in these revelations “whatever constitutes AN AUTHENTIC CALL OF CHRIST OR HIS SAINTS TO THE CHURCH.”
